Donald Joseph Qualls - better known as DJ Qualls - is a actor, model, and producer from the United States. After becoming famous through his roles on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow the actor was featured in over 20 feature films, like The Core. He's also been in 22 shows on television, such as Breaking Bad Supernatural scrubs lost Law & Order among others. Qualls, who was diagnosed at age 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma, is a strong fighter. Following two years of treatment the cancer was cured. The treatment was so early that it had a severe effect on the body, and stunted his growth. Financial security became his main objective once he began because he had experienced poverty throughout his life. He said, "I've been living so in a state of financial sanity for so long and I'm desperate for to have financial security, otherwise my life is going to feel chaotic for me." In an interview the actor also discusses his growing up. The goal of his is to put an end to the bullying. DJ states "Cruelty causes pain to my heart." The ideal DJ role is that of a father in real life. Director doesn't pick him to play those parts, but he does say. It's great to one day be the parent of his own child, at which point he will be able spend much less time working and dedicate it to his child.
